great base for exploring zurich's parks and landmarks
I loved that the hotel is just a few steps from the Goldbrunnenplatz tram stop, making it super easy to reach beautiful spots like the Fraumünster Church and the scenic views from Lindenhof hill, which are less than 2 km away for a lovely city stroll. the friendly front desk staff added to the welcoming atmosphere during my stay.

The location is fantastic, just steps from the Goldbrunnenplatz tram stop, making it super easy to explore Zurich. I enjoyed the breakfast variety, especially having the option to cook my own eggs. The terrace offered a nice view, but it was unfortunate that the access was not easily available on my first encounter. My room, while clean, felt cramped for two people opening luggage. The shower was quite frustrating as it had poor drainage, causing water to flood the floor, making it uncomfortable. Overall, this hotel has its quirks but is good for a short stay if you're okay with a bit of inconvenience.

The breakfast offered a satisfying selection, including options for cooking your own eggs, and the breakfast room provided a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were accommodating when I requested a room change and the cleanliness of the room was commendable. However, my room faced a noisy street with constant tram traffic, which was quite disruptive at night. Additionally, the lack of an electric kettle in the room was an inconvenience. While the tram stop nearby provides access to the city, the ride to key attractions takes about 30 minutes.

The welcoming atmosphere made my visit enjoyable, with a unique touch of traditional keys for access. I appreciated the attention to detail in the breakfast, like the delightful warm croissants. However, the dark hallways could be improved with better lighting, and providing a shelf in the bathroom would enhance convenience.
